Following the Senators loss to the Canadiens in Game 2, Guillaume Latendresse and Ryan White proceeded to get into a chirping battle as the game ended. Latendresse was less than impressed.
As many of you may already know, I attended Game 1 of this playoff series at the Bell Centre. I should mention that choosing tickets on StubHub (obviously well above face value) was confusing because of how the Bell Centre classifies its 300 level. It actually divides its 300 level into three sections: the lower level which has rows beginning in AA, BB, CC etc, followed by the middle level which has rows A, B, C etc, and lastly the upper level which they call the 400 level for some reason which has rows A, B, C etc. Now you know! Here are some pics from my seats, as well as a picture of yours truly. As you can tell my picture didn't turn out, one of the reasons being that they keep the 200 and 300 level darker than the 100 level and ice level which I assume is to make it easier to focus on watching the game. Random fact... I really love the tray they give you to hold your food. Scotiabank Place should adopt them! In case you missed them on Twitter, here were the highlights of the trip.
And now that you've managed to endure my summary of the trip, here are the GIFs I promised. Firstly, the two GIFs below are immediately after PK Subban laid out Chris Neil and tried to pump up his team and then unsuccessfully try to trash talk the Sens bench. And the greatest GIF of the night belongs to Jakob Silfverberg whose reaction is priceless (pun intended) when finding out how terrible Carey Price is. Lastly if you missed my Price is Wrong GIF, you have to take a look: http://sensforlife11.weebly.com/1/post/2013/05/the-price-is-wrong-bitch.html Also, don't forget to vote for Craig Anderson on the NHL 14 cover.
Three Globe and Mail hockey reporters were recently asked "Which Canadian team do you think will go the furthest towards the Stanley Cup?". Check out this golden response. Now to be completely fair, this interview was done on April 26th before the seeding was complete and we had an all Canadian matchup, nevertheless...
